Hunter x Hunter – Early Feats

Wing Flexes His Hatsu

hxh1

hxh2

By merely flexing his hatsu, Wing fractures the wall of the room. Thought this would be nice to calculate for early HxH. Wing isn’t even trying here. Just trying to show what the basics of nen can do to the uninitiated.

wing1

Gon is 1.54 m tall. He’s 97 pixels compared to Wing at 112.

112 / 97 = 1.155 * 1.54 = 1.779 m, Wing’s height.

wing2

520 / 271 = 1.919 * 1.779 = 3.414 m, diameter of fractured wall.

Based on the cracks and texture, I think it’s reasonable to assume that this wall is stone. According to this site, a wall’s thickness should start out at 1 foot, then increase by 4 inches for every 10 m taller the wall gets. We don’t know how high up they are here, so we’ll have to stick with 12 inches or .305 m.

Treating this as a cylinder, the fractured volume would be 2.792 m^3

Fracturing requires 8 J/cc.

2.792 m^3 = 2,792,000 cm^3

2,792,000 * 8 = 22,336,000 J, or 5.338 Kg of TNT.

Gon Kicks a Ring Tile

hxh1

hxh2

Gon kicks and fractures the ring tile. It looks to be somewhat explosive in nature as well, so I’ll give it 15 J/cc for an energy requirement.

gon1

Hisoka is 1.90 m tall. He’s 66 pixels here compared to the tile length at 97 and depth at 7.

97 / 66 = 1.47 * 1.90 = 2.793 m, length of tile.

7 / 66 = .106 * 1.90 = .201 m, thickness of tile.

gon2

297 / 368 = .807 * 2.793 = 2.254 m, width of tile.

As a rectangular prism, this would make the tile 1.265 m^3.

1.265 m^3 = 1,265,000 cm^3

1,265,000 * 15 = 18,975,000 J or 4.535 Kg of TNT.

Hisoka Kicks a Tile

hxh1

hxh2

Hisoka kicks one of the ring tiles into the stands.

Based on the already obtained volume, and stone weight 1,602 kg/m^3, the weight would be 2,026.53 Kg.

The tile exploded into pieces upon impacting the crowd, meaning 20 J/cc.

1,265,000 * 20 =25,300,000 J, minimum energy at impact.

With both the mass and energy, we can obtain the speed upon collision.

v = sqrt KE / .5 m

sqrt 25,300,000 / .5 * 2,026.53 = 158.015 m/s, speed of tile.

hisoka1

As already established, Hisoka is 1.90 m tall. He’s 393 pixels here compared to the length of his leg at 222.

222 / 393 = .565 * 1.90 = 1.074 m, length of leg.

Hisoka looks to have kicked in about 1/3rd of a circle, and with the length of his leg, that would be 1.124 m.

a =  v^2 / (2 * d)

158.015^2 / (2 * 1.124) = 11,107.091 m/s^2

f = ma

2,026.53 * 11,107.091 =22,508,853.124 N

w = fd

22,508,853.124 * 1.124 = 25,299,950.911 J, or 6.047 Kg of TNT.

Oh… erm… basically the same as the kinetic formula above. lol How silly of me to even bother. I basically just calculated in a circle there. >_>
